• What was needed: A cup sealing machine that automatically puts a lid on plastic cups in fast food restaurants
• Requirements: 100% lubrication-free and maintenance-free, durable, heat-resistant, moisture-resistant, light-weight, quiet and vibration-free, food-grade compliant
• Products used: drylin® R housing bearings
  (FJUMT-01-10), Drylin® Linear Guides (TK-04-12),
  dryspin® flanged threaded nuts (DST-JFRM) and spindle as well as iglidur® W300 plain bearings (WFM-0608-04)
• Success for the customer: The moving parts of the machine should withstand more than 300,000 cycles. The designers therefore use the housing bearings, linear guides, flanged threaded nuts from the dryspin® series and plain bearings from the iglidur® W300 series. All components are suitable for the food industry because they work without lubrication. In addition, they work almost silently.
