Specifically, this chainflex® storage logistics innovation consists of a clever shipping carton for cables sold by the metre that greatly simplifies the cable handling process. Despite its novelty, the carton can be shipped and delivered with the standard procedures, saving a great deal of money and resources for haulage. The shipment can then be placed directly at the use or storage location without additional intermediate steps because the cables sold by the metre can be unreeled directly from the packaging. Ideally, this would happen over several layers, since the chainflex® shipping drum is designed specially for modular stackability. And finally, the QR code on the shipping label can be used to re-order the desired goods online.
