SLQ linear robot with two directions of movementThe drylin® linear module offers two directions of movement and these can each be controlled separately. Both drives are located outside the working area, which is why it is space-saving and no unnecessary motor weights need to be moved. The linear guide is torque-resistant and thanks to the compact modular construction, high speeds can be reached with low power.
- Quiet and lightweight
- No electronics in the working area
- Compact structure
- Corrosion-resistant
- Lead screw material: stainless steel
- Shaft material: aluminium
- Pitch of the lead screw: Tr10x2
Application examplesTypical applications of our linear module. Pick & place, gripper technology, inspection technology, medicine and pharmaceutical technology
Robot control system for an easy entry into automationThe SLQ linear module is compatible with igus® Robot Control. The igus® Robot Control enables a simple and intuitive system for robot control and programming. The free-of-charge, licence-free igus® Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This entails less project planning effort and faster commissioning.
If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem either.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system, which controls the coordination of the movement. The motor control systems are not a component of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.
