Our robolink® DP robotic arm has been engineered with self-lubricating, maintenance-free plastic joints that are corrosion, chemical and dirt resistant. It also features an optimized bearing support for each axis to reduce backlash, a payload up to 30N, cycle times from seven seconds, and a reach up to 790mm. robolink® DP is available as a complete system or can be customized to meet your specific application requirements.

If you’re looking for maintenance-free plastic components to design your own barista robot, igus® offers solutions for you as well. Our durable micro e-chain® cable carriers are easy to open, close, and fill and reduce installation space thanks to their small bend radii (as low as 28mm). chainflex® flexible cables have been engineered to withstand millions of bending cycles and torsional stresses of ±180° for every three feet of cable. Additionally, our dry-tech® components, including slewing rings, linear actuators, lead screws and nuts, and more, are designed with our dry-running iglide® plastic materials for smooth, maintenance-free operation.

All igus® products are extensively tested each year inside our 41,000ft2 laboratory at our headquarters in Cologne, Germany. Due to this testing, our e-chain® cable carriers and chainflex® cables have an up to 4 year guarantee. Calculate the expected service life of any igus® component prior to installation.

New from our customer testing area: for a customer application, a robolink® RL-DP five-axis robot was tested for an application involving coffee machine operation. The challenge was not only transporting coffee cups to the machine, but also operating the coffee machine's touch display.
